From Tommie Bennett, head coach
I could run this camp with four times the campers and stay off the hill. Plenty of people do, and they make considerably more money. I want to explain why I don’t, because it is the only real reason to pick us.
Actually me. Not a sales team — there isn’t one.

The first adult I ever taught to ride switch was forty-four years old and had convinced himself he was too old to learn anything new. He wasn’t. He was just being taught in a group of twenty by someone who had never seen him ride.
That is the whole thesis of this camp. Not that I am a better snowboarder than the coaches at the big camps — several of them are far better riders than me. It is that I will actually be looking at you.
I have spent thirty years coaching this sport, and I have made every teaching mistake there is. What I know now is embarrassingly simple: people improve when someone who knows what they are looking at watches them closely, tells them one thing, and then watches again tomorrow morning. Everything else is logistics.
What I actually do all week
Not in an office. I am riding with campers every session, every day, which is also how I know whether my own coaching is working.
I sit with riders and their footage after dinner. This is the part of the day that changes people, and I am not delegating it.
A fifteen-minute call so I know what you want out of the week before you arrive, instead of finding out on Wednesday.
Who I built it for
This camp is 21 and over, beginner to intermediate. It is deliberately not for advanced riders chasing double corks — the big camps do that better than I would. It is for the rider who has been going for years, is stuck, and has never once had someone genuinely coach them.
In their words
“I was able to progress my riding, and at the same time, I felt safe because I knew I had great coaches I could trust. Morning exercises on the mountain and video feedback were super valuable… Riding Mount Hood in the summer, meeting new friends, seeing old friends, watching pros ride, and getting coached by the best is super special.”Jimmy Rivas · RN, 37, Chicago
“I was nervous about it being my first year snowboarding and possibly holding people back since I didn’t have a lot of park experience, but the coaches were great at breaking things down into stages for me to try and build my confidence and progress at a pace I was comfortable with. My riding improved so much.”Chris Rosa

The week
Summer glacier corn is the most forgiving surface in snowboarding. Falling stops hurting, so your body stops bracing.
Four campers per coach. Your coach knows your name, your leak and your goal by Monday lunch.
Timberline's airbag lets you try the scary version twenty times with no landing consequence.
Every evening we put your footage on the screen and find the one thing to change tomorrow.
You wake up and do it again — 7 days back to back. That repetition is the part winter can never give you.
Exact calendar dates are confirmed with Timberline each spring and announced to deposit holders first. Both sessions run Monday through Sunday between June 20 and July 30, 2027.
No script and no sales team — there is only me. Tell me where your riding is and what you want, and I will tell you honestly whether this camp is the right thing for you. Sometimes the answer is no and I will say so.
It is on the way. If it is not there in two minutes, look in Promotions — then drag it to your main tab so you get the session dates first.
Ride with us Monday. If by Monday night you don’t believe this is the best coaching you have ever paid for, tell your coach at dinner. We refund the entire week on the spot — including the nights you have already slept in the house. You risk one day. We risk the whole thing.
