For parents who got left behind
It happens on an ordinary Saturday. They drop in, you follow, and by the time you get down they have been standing there long enough to be bored. They are kind about it. That is somehow the worst part.
21+ only. This week is yours, not theirs.

You are the reason they ride. You bought the first board, drove the early mornings, stood in the cold holding gloves. And somewhere in the last two seasons they quietly went past you, and now the family day is built around what you can keep up with.
Here is the thing nobody says: you did not get worse. You just never got taught. They had lessons, a season pass and a hundred days. You had a chairlift, some friends and a lot of guessing.
One week fixes more of that gap than you would believe. Not because you will suddenly ride like a fifteen-year-old — but because seven consecutive days of actual coaching does what fifteen scattered seasons of self-teaching never did.
What changes
Nobody signs up to beat their own child down a run. What people actually want back is the version of the day where you are riding together instead of one of you waiting.
The day gets planned around the slowest link, and everyone politely pretends that isn’t happening.
Steeps stop being a negotiation. You follow them into terrain you used to route around.
Riders who arrive having never hit a box regularly leave having ridden one. Ask your kid how that lands.
Why it is 21 and over
There are excellent camps on this mountain full of teenagers, and your kid would love one. This is not that. Our camp is adults only by design — nobody in your group is going to be fifteen, brilliant, and effortless. Everyone there is a grown adult paying to be visibly bad at something for a week, which turns out to be the most relaxing environment in snowboarding.

Proof
“I was able to progress my riding, and at the same time, I felt safe because I knew I had great coaches I could trust. Morning exercises on the mountain and video feedback were super valuable… Riding Mount Hood in the summer, meeting new friends, seeing old friends, watching pros ride, and getting coached by the best is super special.”Jimmy Rivas · RN, 37, Chicago
“I was nervous about it being my first year snowboarding and possibly holding people back since I didn’t have a lot of park experience, but the coaches were great at breaking things down into stages for me to try and build my confidence and progress at a pace I was comfortable with. My riding improved so much.”Chris Rosa
The week
Summer glacier corn is the most forgiving surface in snowboarding. Falling stops hurting, so your body stops bracing.
Four campers per coach. Your coach knows your name, your leak and your goal by Monday lunch.
Timberline's airbag lets you try the scary version twenty times with no landing consequence.
Every evening we put your footage on the screen and find the one thing to change tomorrow.
You wake up and do it again — 7 days back to back. That repetition is the part winter can never give you.
Exact calendar dates are confirmed with Timberline each spring and announced to deposit holders first. Both sessions run Monday through Sunday between June 20 and July 30, 2027.
Ride all seven days. If by Sunday afternoon you cannot do something on a snowboard that you could not do on Monday morning — something you name yourself on day one, in writing — we refund your coaching in full. You keep the video, the drills and the week. We have never had to write that cheque, and we are not nervous about it.
